of one of seven oak chairs currently in
attic storage.

of a Sikes Rocker he purchased
at an estate sale in
Clearwater, Florida
      

Jawwad J. Love sent these photos
of a cane bottom,
claw foot style Sikes Chair.
       

L. Brewer picked up her Sikes
chair at a garage sale in
San Rafal, CA ca 1990.
It is now  one of a kind.


This Morris Style chair was
manufactured in Buffalo
and found at auction on E-Bay.

Christine Davis wrote:  "My mother just gave me a chair I have loved since I was a child.  I turned it over to see what I could find out from the underside of the chair.  Sikes Chair Company #2664 is what I found on a paper label.  Also another  label which read:  Hampson, Mintle & Abbott, Inc. 99 West Main Street, Waterbury, Conn.  No picture.
