The Dorset Historical Society in Vermont is the repository for a large quantity of material pertaining to the Sikes/Sykes families who lived in Vermont. Included is a listing of burials in Maple Hill Cemetery located on Interstate 30. While visiting the area for an Association reunion in 1999, I extracted the following entries for Sykes-Sikes. This is not primary source material, but is offered for leads to your further research. OG = Old Grounds. Some entries were marked with two lot numbers. I don’t know if it was a clerical error, if the graves were moved, or if the lots were renumbered. Some of the lots are very large and this could be an inclusive number to indicate many graves in the lot. Entries in italics are for clarification.
